Basic Function

The Developer is responsible for development of new software features as well as troubleshooting and repairing software issues. They are also responsible for contributing to the database and interface design and providing data analysis queries as needed.

Job Relationships

The Developer reports to the Lead Developer and interacts with staff, vendors, clients, payers, patients, physicians, nursing staff and other facility personnel in all areas pertaining to his/her position.

Job Qualifications

Education: College degree or equivalent required.

Work Experience: Requires a minimum of two year experience in the design and development of application software.
Required Skills: Experience with Web Applications: HTML, JavaScript, C#, and SQL. Familiarity with OOP and software development best practices. Ability to work independently and occasionally under tight deadlines.

Recommended Skills: Experience with ASP.NET MVC 5, LINQ, Entity Framework 6. Exposure to Dependency Injection libraries, specifically Ninject. Knowledge of C# Extension Methods, .NET Expressions, and Razor Views. Experience with jQuery, including the creation of custom jQuery plugins.

Physical Guidelines: Ability to extend wrists/arms for up to eight hours/day; sit for up to eight hours/day; and work at computer terminal for up to eight hours/day.

Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs.
