Supervising Register Nurse- Maternal Fetal Medicine

Overview:

Argus Medical Management provides all Management Services critical to running a successful medical practice allowing our physician clients to focus on the practice of medicine.We are seeking a full time RN Manager for a private Maternal Fetal Medicine office located in the Santa Monica CA

Job Requirements:

• Responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring Utilization Management objectives and activities focusing on assisting patient flow.
• Monitors and evaluates staff scheduling practices to ensure that sufficient qualified staff is available to meet service demand and assignments are made appropriately and equitably.
• Direct staff supervision and insures staff plus office compliance with all licensing standards
• Communicates to and participates in discussions with the on-call and other team members regarding urgent call matters that may require close patient follow-up

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Inpatient and or outpatient OB experience mandatory
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology & clinical standard of care
• Relevant 1-year recent experience
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Electronic Medical/Health Record- Epic preferred
• Willing to work flexible hours

Certification and Education:

1. Current California Registered Nurse license
2. Current Basic Life Support Card - BLS & CPR
