Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team in our Bradenton office. This position is responsible for the day-to-day managementof the Revenue Cycle ManagementDepartmentof a busy multi-specialty RCM organization focusing on anesthesia as well as other health care areas (Hospital, Facility, Surgery Center, office across multiple specialties). This position involves working cohesively with multiple departments and internal RCM operations as well as coordination of operational activities.

Primary Job responsibilities include:

A. Provides oversight and management of Revenue Cycle department.
B. Assists Revenue Cycle Specialists in resolving complex insurance issues.
C. Analyzes accounts looking for trends, outlines in monthly reports or as needed
D. Ensures Revenue Cycle Specialists complete monthly reports & reviews, ensures staff adherence to policies, procedures and revenue cycle processes.
E. Monitor ongoing updated payor policies
F. Maintains department protocols as needed for up to date client and insurance information
G. Monitors aged accounts and verifies appropriate collection procedures are being followed
H. Develops, implements and regularly reviews policies and procedures to improve efficiencies
I. Communicates effectively with leadership to produce management reports
J. Uses reporting tools to maximize reimbursement.
K. Develops and sets standards for measuring work performance of staff and team goals
L. Partners withHealth Information manager to develop seamless billing and collection work cycle tasks and staff alignment
M. Follows HIPPA guidelines, Maintains HIPAA certification
N. Demonstrates excellent time management and organizational skills; communicates appropriately via email, phone and instant messaging
O. Analyze outsourcing functions for optimization / utilization as applicable to RCM
P. Work well with outsourcing personnel to facilitate optimal account management
Q. Performs other duties as assigned.

Primary Qualifications are:

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
A. High school graduate or GED equivalent with a focus in a general business curriculum.
B. Minimum 2-5 years' Medical Billing experience in A/R. Minimum 3-5 years supervisory/managerial experience.
C. Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills.
D. Ability to prioritize activities and work independently.
E Advanced knowledge of medical computerized billing systems
F. Advanced computer skills, including MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel
G. Experience with A/R analytics, trend monitoring, claim appeals, payment monitoring and EOB
Interpretation.
H. Customer service-oriented attitude/behavior as well as a pleasant and poised demeanor and excellent phone etiquette.
I. Ability to meet deadlines and have strong organizational and time management skills.
J. Informed and knowledgeable in HIPAA
K. Ability to manage RCM staff in effective manner.
L. Ability to work with/monitor outsourcing company operations
