We are currently seeking a Clerical Assistant to join our team in our Bradenton office. The duties and responsibilities include providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This position supports managers and staff through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. This position requires a team player that can effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. You must be detail oriented, organized, self -motivated and efficient in time management. This position also requires proficiency in Microsoft Office.

COVID-19 considerations: To keep employees safe we wear masks whenever social distancing is not possible. We provide masks, hand sanitizer, and daily temperature checks. All desks are 6' or more feet apart.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments.
  • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms.
  • Handle multiple projects.
  • Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning etc.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
  • Take accurate minutes of meetings when needed.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute the mail. Sort and post all outgoing mail.
  • Photocopy, scan and print out documents on behalf of other colleagues.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years prior experience.
