Speed vs. accuracy. Which is more important? If you said both, we have the position for you! We are looking for a fast and accurate optometric professional to key vision payer remits into a variety of software systems.

The ideal candidate would:

  • Have a thorough understanding of optometric and optical terminology.
  • Be able to read and accurately interpret EOBs, including negative remits, chargebacks, and secondary vision claims.
  • Be fluent in RevolutionEHR

DUTIES:

This full-time position involves:

--Retrieving remittance and disbursements from varied payer websites

--Keying with speed and accuracy

--Identifying denials and other exceptions and assigning to appropriate person for follow up with clear notes

--Delivery of outstanding customer service.

--Strong communicator. Exemplary interpersonal and customer service skills required.

--Able to quickly and efficiently maneuver the internet.

--A fast, accurate keyboard and mouse user in variety of software systems.

High School diploma/GED equivalent and two years' experience in optometry field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

 

NOTE -- This full-time position requires the successful completion of a MANDATORY in-office, 90-day training and evaluation period after which employee will have the opportunity to participate in our Remote Work Program.  Employees must meet certain criteria in order to qualify/participate in remote work.
