HealthPro Medical Billing in Lima, OH is seeking an entry-level IT Project Manager to be a part of our Information Technology team. This position has the opportunity to work partial remote.

Entry Level IT Project Manager Summary

The entry-level Project Manager administers and organizes all types of projects, from simple activities to more complex plans.

This position will require a combination of skills that include, but are not limited to (1) working closely with IT Project Leads to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes and budgets for projects, (2) coordinating project scheduling, (3) maintaining project documentation, (4) performing work ticket triage to determine the effect on project timeframes and (5) handling low level work ticket issues.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project management activities across multiple projects.
  • Work with the Project Leads to develop detailed project plans to track progress.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives.
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
  • Analyze risks and opportunities.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests.
  • Perform work ticket triage and handle low level ticket issues.
  • Possess excellent time management and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and IS team members to deliver results on deadlines.

  • HL7-Health Level 7 record formats
  • EDI interface programming and record formats, specifically 835 and 837
  • Analytical ability includes the ability to combine critical thinking and innovative solutions with common sense to identify and develop business recommendations and process improvements.

Education and Experience:

Must have an associate or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field or a minimum of 3 to 5 years related experience.  Healthcare industry experience preferred, but not required.
