A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN IT SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
As a Software Developer, you design, test, implement, and maintain program code for various business critical applications and reports and create and modify reports using reporting tools. You will assist in studying and analyzing data processing functions, methods and procedures and make recommendations concerning the feasibility of revising existing programs or adapting new applications to data processing operations that will more effectively utilize IT resources. You work with employees and external contacts to plan, program, and code enhancements and changes. You will assist employees in resolving technical errors related to programs, databases, or other IT related issues. You will cross-train with other IT team members, provide general programming assistance, and participate in the department's weekly and monthly tasks. Your excellent time management and communication skills are essential to your success. You enjoy being a part of our information technology team!

The typical schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, but hours are flexible.
