As a Junior Developer, you design, test, implement, and maintain program code for various business-critical applications and reports and create and modify reports using reporting tools. You assist in studying and analyzing data processing functions, methods and procedures and make recommendations concerning the feasibility of revising existing programs or adapting new applications to data processing operations that will more effectively utilize IT resources. You work with employees and external contacts to plan, program, and code enhancements and changes. You assist employees in resolving technical errors related to programs, databases, or other IT-related issues. You will cross-train with other IT team members, provide general programming assistance, and participate in the department's weekly and monthly tasks.

  • Prior development experience is preferred.
  • Programming language experience in object-oriented, SQL server databases, versioning software, and documentation of code.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, information technology, or related field OR a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
  • Healthcare industry experience is preferred, but not required.


The typical department hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, but hours are flexible.
