Healthcare Administrative Partners, HAP, is looking for a detail oriented and analytical Data Analyst to work full-time in our remote IT team.

As a Data Analyst you will be responsible for planning, designing, documenting and assisting in the launch of efficient business, financial, and operational systems. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, business requirements and proposed projects. The Data Analyst is also responsible for generating and compiling reports based on their findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of IT system investments.

Duties include:

  • Being the subject matter expert relating to the various business functions within the company
  • Understanding business requirements and translating them into specific software requirements
  • Ability to effectively communicate with external clients and internal teams
  • Having strong technical skills, business intelligence, and a full understanding of the needs of the customer
  • Various ad-hoc reporting as well as the detailed analysis of the information within those reports
  • Ad-hoc data mining in order to determine data mappings between various systems
  • Manage reporting requests as they come into the Help Desk
  • Manage and execute EOM reporting
