This position will support the Billing Team in their efforts to produce a 99% clean claim ratio for our Providers. The Benefits and Eligibility position is the front line as a key and critical position within the Revenue Management Cycle. The position will consist of demographic entries, insurance verifications, and benefit assessments.

Job Duties Include But Not Limited To:

• Verify eligibility and benefits for all patients both In Network and Out of Network
• Obtain information regarding Co-pays, Co-Insurance, Deductible and Out of Pocket expenses
• Verify and or obtain missing documentation, authorizations, and referrals
• Enter and set up accounts in each EMR system as required
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous Medical Office Experience
• Completion of Medical Billing, Medical Administration or Medical Assisting classes
• Bilingual is a Plus
• Must type a minimum of 45 WPM
• Excellent Grammar and Spelling
• Keen eye for detail
• Highly motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
